What Should I Expect?

What Do You Believe?

East Saugatuck Church is a community growing in our love for God and for other people. East Saugatuck Church has established deep roots in the community south of Holland, and was founded in 1869. We are a part of the Christian Reformed Church of North America.  We believe that all parts of life are under our Lord's control, and our calling is to be His agents of transformation and mercy to all people in our community.

Our Vision and Values

East Saugatuck Church's Top Ten Core Ministry Values:

1.    Preaching of God's Word must be Biblically-based.

2.    Prayer is essential for effective ministry.

3.    Every believer must be committed to personal and spiritual growth.

4.    Every person matters to God and to the East Saugatuck congregation.

5.    Biblical stewardship is essential for effective ministry.

6.    Worship must be culturally relevant, doctrinally pure, and a response to God's love and grace.

7.    Children and families are a priority.

8.    Every believer has spiritual gifts and should be using them.

9.    We are called to witness to our community by meeting physical and spiritual needs.

10.   Caring and loving relationships must be a part of every aspect of our church.
