East Saugatuck Prayer Requests
One of our core values is that prayer is essential for effective ministry. We take prayer seriously and it is an integral part of our ministry at East Saugatuck. "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. - James 5." In the spirit of James 5, East Saugatuck Elders are available to pray with anyone in need of physical and spiritual healing—please don’t hesitate to contact any Elder if you are in need of prayer!
You can stay up to date on any prayer requests here. If you have an item that requires prayer, you can also post your requests at the bottom of this page.
Gretchen’s Mom
Please be in prayer for Gretchen Scott’s mother Bonnie, who recently has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to her liver and spleen. She also has suffered a series of mini-strokes in her brain that have affected her ability to speak and eat. Hospice care has begun as well. We pray for God’s strength and comfort to surround this family in these challenges.
